Its phones run vivo's software, which in India has moved from Funtouch OS to OriginOS, so the steps match those on a vivo. Turn off Google FRP lock
iQOO phones use Google's Factory Reset Protection (FRP), so a phone wiped with your Google account still on it can ask the next owner for your password. They also use vivo's account and cloud services, so sign out of your vivo account as well.

In Settings, open the accounts section (search for Accounts if you cannot find it), tap your Google account and choose Remove account. Repeat for every Google account.

Open your vivo account in Settings and sign out. If you see a Find phone option, turn it off first.

Check that no accounts are left on the phone.

Erase the phone from Settings, not recovery mode. Search Settings for Erase all data; on Funtouch OS it is usually under
System management > Backup & reset.

Find the IMEI

*#06#in the Phone app. Dual-SIM phones show two IMEIs. - Open
Settings > About phoneand look under Status or the IMEI entry. - Check the label on the original box.
Check that it is valid with the free IMEI checker.

Get it ready to sell
- Back up with Google (
Settings > Google > All services > Backup) and keep your photos in Google Photos or on a computer. - Moving to another iQOO or vivo phone? EasyShare's Phone clone copies your data straight across.
- Link your game progress to an account before you reset, so you do not lose it.
- If the phone was bought on EMI through a finance company, clear the loan or check with the lender first.
- Remove your Google account, sign out of your vivo account, and take out the SIM cards.
- Erase the phone from Settings with Erase all data.

What moves the price
- Fast charging gets tested, so bring the original charger and cable. Full-speed charging needs a compatible charger.
- A buyer may check how warm the phone gets during a game or a long video.
- The screen is checked for burn-in, lines and touch problems.
- RAM and storage follow the version on the box. Extended RAM, which borrows from storage, does not count.
- The box with a matching IMEI label and the bill both help.

Questions
Does an iQOO use a vivo account?
iQOO phones run vivo's software, and the brand account on them is a vivo account. Sign out of it before you erase the phone, along with your Google account.
My iQOO asks for a Google account after reset. What now?
That is Factory Reset Protection. Sign in with the Google account that was on the phone, or with your old screen lock if the phone offers that option. If you forgot the password, recover the account through Google first.
Will my iQOO's menus match the steps here?
Not always. iQOO phones in India have been moving from Funtouch OS to OriginOS, and the menus differ. If a path does not match, use the search bar at the top of Settings.
