Getting started with Recashy for your shop

Set up Recashy for your mobile shop: sign in with Google, find your shop or enter it by hand, choose your shop link and file your first purchase record.

In short

Sign in with the Google account you already have.
Set up your shop and choose its link, which goes on your board.
Then buy your first phone with a customer at the counter.

01Sign in with Google

Open recashy.com/partner on the phone or computer you use at the counter and tap Continue with Google. Signing in for the first time creates your account. There is no password to make up and no approval to wait for.

Recashy is free for retailers. You do not add a card, and there is no charge per record.

02Find your shop, or enter it by hand

Search for your shop
Type your shop name and area, for example Sharma Mobile Karol Bagh. If your shop is on Google Maps, pick it from the list. The address, pincode and phone number fill in for you.

Or type it in
If your shop is not on Google, or the listing is out of date, enter the shop name and full address yourself. City, state, pincode, shop phone and GSTIN are optional. If you add your GSTIN, it is printed on your records.

Check the name and address
They appear at the top of every record you file, so use the name and address painted on your shop board.

03Choose your shop link

Setup asks for one more thing: your shop's own link, recashy.com/ followed by a short name. Recashy suggests one from your shop name, and you can change it before you save. As you type, a preview shows how it will read on a shop board.

The rules for a link

3 to 40 characters, using small letters, numbers and hyphens
Not already used by another shop
Not made only of numbers
Not one of the everyday words kept for Recashy's own pages, such as sell, shop or phones

04Buy your first phone

Your first real purchase is the best way to learn the screens. A filed record cannot be deleted, so do not file a practice sale. Anything you have not filed can be discarded.

Tap Buy a phone
Type the seller's 10-digit mobile number and tap Send code.

Verify the seller
The seller reads the code off their own phone. Type it in and tap Verify and start.

Fill in the handset
Pick the brand and model, choose the storage, scan or type the IMEI, choose a condition grade and enter what you are paying.

Add the seller
Type their name. ID proof, address and photos are optional, and a meter shows how much each one adds to the record.

File it
Tap File record, read the declaration out to the seller, tick it and tap Confirm and file. Your first record is RC-000001, and the phone is now in your stock.

05Works on a phone or a computer

Recashy runs in the web browser, so there is nothing to install. On a phone, the tabs sit along the bottom of the screen with Buy in the middle. On a computer, they run down the side. You see the same register and stock wherever you sign in.
