About Recashy

India already recycles its phones. Nobody organised it.

Crores of used phones change hands in India every year, across counters, between friends, through classifieds. The trade works, but it runs on blind trust: the seller does not know the fair price, the shop does not know the phone’s history, and when something goes wrong there is no paper for anyone.

Recashy is the structure under that trade. For sellers, a shop they can verify and a price agreed face to face. For shops, a two-minute purchase flow that leaves a locked, OTP-verified record of every handset, and a wholesale network to move stock. For everyone, a market where a phone’s paper trail exists.

We started with the shops, because a marketplace with nobody to pay you is a brochure. The dealer platform is live and free, and every partner shop gets its own website with its stock listed at real prices. Selling your phone through Recashy itself is being built on top of it.
