01The short version
Recashy connects people selling used phones with shops that buy them, and gives those shops record-keeping tools. Transactions happen between you and the shop — we provide the structure, not the cash.
02The free tools
The IMEI checker, value estimator and checklist are provided as-is, free, for guidance. The value estimator produces an indicative range, not an offer; actual prices are set by shops after inspection. The IMEI checker validates the number’s structure, not a handset’s legal history — for stolen/blocklist checks use the government CEIR portal.
03Transactions at partner shops
Partner shops are independent businesses. The price, the inspection and the payment are between you and the shop. Recashy requires partners to verify sellers by OTP and maintain locked purchase records, and a shop that abuses the platform loses access to it.
By selling a handset you confirm it is yours to sell — the declaration you confirm at the counter is stored with the record.
04Partner platform
Shops get the platform free of charge. You are responsible for the accuracy of the records you file and for complying with the record-keeping rules that apply to second-hand dealers in your state. Filed records are locked by design; do not file what you are not certain of.
05Acceptable use
Do not use Recashy to launder stolen handsets, to file knowingly false records, or to scrape or disrupt the service. We cooperate with lawful police enquiries concerning specific records.
06Liability
Recashy provides the platform with reasonable care but no warranty of uninterrupted availability. We are not a party to sales between sellers and shops and carry no liability for them beyond what law requires.
